Every store. Every product category. One intelligent inventory planning platform.
Stadium, one of the Nordics’ largest sports retailers, has successfully gone live with the full Madden suite, bringing AI-powered forecasting, purchasing, budgeting and automated store replenishment together on one platform.
With annual sales exceeding SEK 7 billion, 235 stores across Sweden, Norway and Finland, and a complex assortment spanning multiple retail concepts, Stadium operates at a scale where smarter inventory decisions can make a substantial difference to sales, working capital and profitability.
Madden now supports those decisions across Stadium’s entire buying organization and store network – from long-term financial planning and purchasing to daily, automated replenishment of every store.
The milestone follows an extensive integration with Stadium’s ERP environment during the first half of 2026, with modules and use cases progressively going live since before the summer. Today, the full platform is operational, marking the successful completion of Madden’s largest and most comprehensive implementation to date.
Daily inventory optimization. Across every store.
Getting the right products to the right stores, at the right time – without tying up unnecessary capital in inventory – is one of retail's biggest challenges.
For Stadium, Madden Replenishment now addresses that challenge across its entire store network, every product category and all product types.
Every day, Madden analyzes demand, stock levels, sales patterns and store-specific characteristics to optimize replenishment decisions across Stadium’s retail network.
Rather than relying on static rules and manual processes, Stadium can leverage intelligent, automated recommendations tailored to the needs of each individual store.
The objective is clear: higher product availability, lower inventory levels, faster stock turnover and more full-price sales.
At Stadium’s scale, even small improvements in inventory efficiency have the potential to unlock significant financial value.
From budgets to purchase orders – one platform for the entire buying organization
Alongside store replenishment, Stadium has rolled out Madden Planning across its entire buying organization, with approximately 60 users now working in the platform.
Madden supports budgeting, demand forecasting and purchasing across Stadium’s complete assortment, covering both its own brands and external suppliers.
By bringing these processes together, Stadium gains a unified approach to planning – connecting financial targets, demand forecasts, purchasing decisions and inventory requirements.
AI-powered forecasting and automation help teams identify risks and opportunities earlier, improve decision-making and reduce time spent on manual planning activities.
For a retailer managing multiple concepts, markets, brands and product lifecycles, this creates the foundation for a more agile, data-driven and scalable buying organization.
From the first budget to the final store replenishment, Madden now supports Stadium's inventory decisions throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Turning smarter inventory decisions into business results
For Stadium, the ambition goes well beyond implementing new technology. The ultimate goal is to improve some of retail's most important performance indicators: forecast accuracy, inventory levels, stock turnover, product availability and profitability.
Martina Wernemar, Chief Product Officer at Stadium, comments:
"With Madden, we see potential in strengthening our forecast capabilities and precision, reducing inventory levels and increasing stock turnover. By doing so, we can better meet customer demand, deliver on our customer promise, and support Stadium’s overall growth and profitability.
We are happy that we chose Madden to be our partner throughout this journey and we can honestly say that we could not have managed a GoLive without their constant support, flexibility and creativity, or with their ability to make it a FUN ride. Looking forward to our joint journey and creative discussions to come!"
A landmark implementation – and proof of enterprise scale
With its combination of large store networks, multiple retail concepts, own and external brands, seasonal and long-life products, and sophisticated purchasing operations, Stadium represents one of the most demanding environments for retail inventory planning.
Successfully deploying Madden across this organization is a significant milestone – and demonstrates the platform's ability to support large, complex retail businesses with end-to-end planning and replenishment capabilities.
"This has been a major project for Madden, and we are incredibly proud of what our teams have accomplished together with Stadium. Successfully deploying our full platform across an organization of this scale and complexity is a significant milestone for us," says Axel Bukowski, CEO and co-founder of Madden Analytics.
"Throughout the implementation, Stadium has challenged us with new requirements and real-world complexity, pushing both our technology and our teams forward. It's been a fantastic collaboration, and reaching full go-live is a major achievement. But the most exciting part is still ahead – turning the power of automation, AI and smarter inventory planning into measurable business results. We look forward to continuing that journey together."
The next chapter: more intelligence, more automation, better results
With the full Madden suite now operational, Stadium and Madden are moving into the next phase of their partnership: continuous optimization and innovation.
The focus will be on further improving forecast precision, expanding automation and leveraging new AI capabilities to make planning and replenishment even more intelligent.
For Stadium, the ambition is to free up time for more strategic work, improve inventory productivity and create better conditions for profitable growth.
For Madden, the implementation represents another important step in its mission to transform how the world's leading retailers and brands plan, purchase and manage inventory.
Less manual work. Smarter decisions. Better inventory productivity.
And with Madden now live across Stadium's entire operation, that transformation is already underway.
