Pinewood, the Swedish outdoor brand known for functional clothing and equipment for outdoor activities, hunting, fishing and dog sports, has selected Madden Analytics to modernize its forecasting and analysis processes.

Founded in 1996, Pinewood is a family-owned company rooted in Småland, Sweden. From its headquarters in Värnamo, the company designs products for an active life outdoors and has built a strong presence across Sweden and Europe.

As Pinewood’s business, assortment and international presence have developed, forecasting and analysing demand has become increasingly complex. The company identified an opportunity to replace manual processes with a more automated and scalable approach - giving the team faster access to relevant insights and a stronger foundation for planning decisions.

With Madden, Pinewood will move from manually produced forecasts and analyses to automated, AI-powered demand forecasting. Madden will continuously process relevant business data and help the team identify patterns, understand expected demand and evaluate performance across products and markets. This will reduce time spent compiling and maintaining analyses while enabling a more proactive and data-driven way of working.

Plug-and-play integration to Business Central

A central part of the implementation is Madden’s integration with Pinewood’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP. The connection is delivered through Madden’s partner adbriq and their standardized integration between Business Central and Madden.

The ready-made integration has enabled a smooth implementation, creating an automated and reliable flow of data between Pinewood’s ERP and Madden. This gives Pinewood a continuously updated planning foundation while reducing both technical complexity and implementation time.

As our business has developed, the amount of data available to us has grown, but producing forecasts and analyses manually has remained time-consuming,” says Tero Hautajärvi , Supply Chain Manager at Pinewood. “With Madden, we can automate much more of that work and use AI-powered forecasts to understand future demand more efficiently. The smooth integration with Business Central through adbriq has also made it straightforward to get the right data into the platform and start creating value.”

The implementation highlights the value of combining a specialized planning platform with an established ERP ecosystem. By connecting Madden directly to Business Central through a standardized solution, Madden and adbriq can provide its customers with advanced forecasting capabilities while preserving Business Central as the core system for operational data.

Pinewood is a strong Swedish brand with a long history, a clear identity and an established international business,” says Axel Bukowski, co-founder and CEO of Madden Analytics. “We’re excited to help their team move from manual analysis to automated forecasting powered by AI.”
