Sail Racing joins Madden Analytics

‍Sail Racing is a highly specialized Swedish brand with roots dating back to the 1970’s, producing technical gear for sailing enthusiasts and athletes. The company is based in the Swedish west coast city Gothenburg that holds a long tradition of sailing in the adjacent archipelago. The company is focused on designing and constructing the most innovative and technical gear for high-speed sailing.

The company’s development team consists of apparel designers, industrial designers, and 3D animators. This talented and technical team is committed to discovering new materials, achieving the best fit, and creating the most appealing designs from input provided by the professional sailing athletes who form the Sail Racing Test Team. The company is the Official Clothing Supplier to Emirates Team New Zealand, winners of the 36th America's Cup. Sail Racing was also the official partner to the 35th America’s Cup and ORACLE TEAM USA, the defenders of the 35th America's Cup.

Sail Racing also designs, markets, and sells a sportswear collection with a look created with speed sailing in mind.

Sail Racing distributes their collection globally through their own concept stores, direct e-commerce and through select wholesale resellers. As for most brands distributing through wholesale, they have a challenge to track sales performance and inventory levels in the wholesale network. By using Madden Analytics they have full insight into performance at each integrated retailer, creating opportunities to optimize the relationship between the brand and the resellers - e.g. suggesting re-orders on products that are soon to be out of stock, or identifying and helping to activate slow moving products. 

We recently started using Madden for some of our key resellers in Sweden, e.g. Care of Carl and Länna Sport and appreciate the possibility to track wholesale performance in a standardized way.
